This is the PILOT Custom 742 fitted with the Waverly nib (size 10).
A Waverly nib is like the great all-rounder. Tipped as a medium, it has a slight upward bend to the tip allowing smooth flowing writing from various angles. With this slight bend also comes a gentle flex and hence line variation. This is the pen you have when you want the pen that covers all bases.
Very comfortable pen in the hand that delivers beautiful line variation and flourish to ordinary handwriting.
Best used with PILOT Iroshizuku ink as this is a high flow ink that will keep up with the ink supply needed for the wider line.
Comes with CON-70 converter. Also compatible with either Con-20 and Con-50 converters plus the PILOT IC-50 cartridges.
