Wooden Pencil
Graphite pencils are made from graphite powder mixed with clay, with more clay producing a harder pencil.
Hard pencils are labelled 9H (hardest) down to H and soft pencils are labelled 9B (blackest) down to B.
HB is the midpoint in the range, but many artist like sketching with a B or 2B.
Choose a hexagonal barrel for precision and control, and a round barrel for a more flexible grip.
