Rollerball Pen

Rollerball pens are inky like a fountain pen, but as convenient as a ballpoint pen. Rollerballs use a low viscosity, dye-based liquid ink, that is smooth to write with and produces a wetter, more saturated line than ballpoint ink. Rollerball gel pens are a variation where pigment is suspended in the ink to give a vivid line, but often with faster drying times than liquid ink. Pigmented inks also have the advantage of higher permanence and water resistance than dye based inks.
