Alvaro Castagnet
World renown watercolourist, from Uruguay. Having spent 20 years of his adult life in Melboune, Alvaro has a strong following of local fans, who enjoy his streetscapes and fambuoyant style. Using his "Four pillars of watercolour" Alvaro stresses the importance of composition, tone, colour harmony and figures, to capture the feel of a location.
Alvaro's palette of 10 colours includes DANIEL SMITH Hansa Yellow Deep, Mayan Orange, Ultramarine Blue, Cobalt Blue, Viridian, Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna Light, Neutral Tint, Deep Scarlet and Pyrrol Red. Available in 5mL starter kit or full 15mL tubes. As part of the DANIEL SMITH Signature Series, there is also a set of Alvaro's warm and cool greys for adding drama and tone.
