An exquisite watercolour paper
St Cuthbert's Mill traditionally manufactures this superior quality watercolor paper on a cylinder mould machine. The Royal Watercolour Society endorses this paper, which is made using 100% cotton, to meet high archival standards. Each sheet receives buffering with calcium carbonate to defend finished works from discoloration caused by acids in atmospheric pollution. Natural woollen felts are used to create its attractive surface, giving it a distinctive random texture. Gelatine sizing makes the surface strong and resilient to scrubbing and other punitive techniques. It is available in hot press (smooth), cold press (light texture), and rough textures, and comes in both white and high white options. Competitively priced and sold as single sheets or in an A5 sketchbook.
