PELIKAN Souveran is the classic pen and the M800/M805 series is the second largest pen in the range.
This is the Stresemann model named after former German Foreign Minister, Gustave Stresemann, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1926. Stresemann was not only known for his reconciliatory work after WWI, but for his popularizing of a new kind of striped suit that was both formal in look, yet comfortable to wear.
The barrel, with the deceptively simple anthracite stripes, is made of cellulose acetate, using a traditional process that is extremely work-intensive. The anthracite colour is a stylish alternative to the iconic PELIKAN green.
Hand-finished 18ct gold nib that is completely rhodinized - available in EF, F, M or B. In keeping with the luxurious feel of this brand, the nibs write wider than other brands.
Differentiated piston mechanism.
Palladium plated clip.
Air-tight fit of cap to prevent ink drying out.
