PELIKAN Souver is the classic fountain pen and the M400 is the fourth largest pen in the range but still holds quite a lot more ink the the smaller M300.
This is the popular Tortoiseshell finish that was first launched in 2004 but in keeping with the 1950s period of when the M400 was first designed. Its striped, transparent sleeve shines delicately in gold. The cap and the remaining parts of the body are held in white and give this model its characteristically bright and friendly splendour.
Hand-finished 14ct gold nib with rhodium trim - available in EF, F, M or B. In keeping with the luxurious feel of this brand, the nibs write wider than other brands.
Differentiated piston mechanism.
24ct gold plated clip.
Air-tight fit of cap to prevent ink drying out.
