This is the PELIKAN Souveran M1000 Fountain Pen - Raden Red Infinity (Limited Edition). Combining Japanese Urushi lacquer and pieces of Australian abalone shell to give the red, rectangular stripes. Only 400 pieces world-wide.
This is the 2023 release of the PELIKAN M1000 Raden, this time combining Australian abalone sheen with red urushi lacquer. Only 400 pieces worldwide. Supplied with Medium nib (however we are able to fit other nib sizes if required), in traditional Paulownia wooden gift box.
PELIKAN Souveran M1000 Raden is a limited edition series, featuring the traditional Japanese decorative craft known as "Raden". Small pieces of precious shell are used to make the distinctive striped appearance of the Souveran range. Black and gold flecked, red urushi lacquer creates a high gloss background, that adds to the scintillating effect as the pen is turned in the light. Each pen is finished with the limited edition number and artist signature.
Hand-finished 18ct gold nib with rhodium trim - size M that provides some flex with hand pressure. In keeping with the luxurious feel of this brand, the nibs write wider than most other brands.
