Excellent quality synthetic watercolour travel brushes hand-made by the Escoda family in Barcelona Spain.
A great tool to have for situations where you don't want to use your natural fibre brushes (like when using with De Atramentis waterproof ink).
These synthetic fibre brushes are made to feel like Kolinsky fibres. The fibres are triple crimped into the ferrule in the trademark Escoda way to maximise the life of the brush head.
The brush is encased in stainless steel reversible tube that acts as a handle when the brush is open and a protective case when it is closed. A small hole at the end of the metal case helps the brush dry as it travels home.
Available in size 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12. Brush case is labelled with brush size.
Sizes 6, 8 and 10 are the most popular with urban sketchers.
The Versatil travel brushes hold water well, almost as good as a Esscoda Reserva Kolinsky brush, especially at the larger brush sizes. Great value if you are after a large brush size.
