The DE ATRAMENTIS document ink is now available in 38mm cartridges to fit any fountain pen that takes a universal cartridge.
Permanent and waterproof, this is a very convenient ink format for sketching on the go. You can sketch with the ink, then apply water colour over the top without the lines moving.
As with any document/waterproof ink, keep your pen in use (at least monthly) to maintain ink flow. If the ink dries in the nib, try dipping in water to restart the flow or if very stubborn, soak all pen parts in water overnight before refilling with fresh ink.

Hi Keely, Lamy take a proprietary size so you have to either use the Lamy ones which are water-soluble or if you want to use waterproof ink, you can get the Z28 converter and use it inside the Lamy with De Atramentis Document Ink. Let us know if you need further help.
These are 38mm universal cartridges and should fit most pens that take a short universal. Brands we have include Faber-Castell, Monteverde, Super5. A lot of sketchers use the Faber-CAStell Ambition OpArt with these cartridges. (They do not fit Sailor, Pilot, Lamy or Cross).
