Pilot pens are made for people who want writing to feel effortless, confident and deeply satisfying. Every gold nib is beautifully manufactured and we tune them for your hand, so your first line feels as good as your hundredth. At the top of the range sits the Custom Urushi with its size, deep lacquer, and large springy gold nib that makes writing feel alive in your hand. Next is the Custom series offering different shapes, weights, filling mechanisms (including Jen’s favourite, the Custom 823), and nib personalities from soft flex for expressive lines, to steady nibs made for calm, controlled handwriting. Explore other special models like the soft flex Falcon, and clickable Capless. Each built to suit a different writing rhythm. Pair your pen with Pilot Iroshizuku ink and feel your thoughts begin to flow. And if you’re just starting, the Kakuno and Metro MR are reliable pens to begin. Pilot doesn’t rush your writing.
