PILOT Parallel Pen - Turquoise Kit - 4.5mm

Designed as a calligraphy pen, the PILOT Parallel nib is two parallel plates that provide a very crisp line. It is also a fun pen to sketch with, even if just to add lettering to a sketch. The grip is transparent so if you are a beginner it helps you learn how a fountain pen works. Available in 6 different nib sizes - 1.5, 2.4, 3.0, 3.8, 4.5 or 6.0mm - with a colour coded twist cap to prevent ink dehydration. Each pen supplied separately with 2 initial cartridges (red, black) and a plastic pipette for cleaning. Also compatible with PILOT Converter-40 transparent twist type (available separately).

If you have more than one pen, and filled with different coloured inks, you can touch the nibs together to create new colours and interesting drawing effects. Nib unit also compatible with OPUS 88 Eye dropper fountain pens, providing an aesthetic way to upgrade the barrel.

Ink cartridges available separately. The wider nib sizes use more ink than the narrower. The ink is very wet and a dream to use, but requires quality paper.
