Charcoal
Drawing charcoal is made from burnt wood and is a fast and versatile medium to draw with. Charcoal pencils contain varying degrees of clay to harden the charcoal, with pencils ranging from HB to 6B. Charcoal pencils can also be tinted to give a contemporary look to a traditional drawing technique.
