Micro Abrasives
Abrasives we use for nib smoothing
These are the micro abrasives we use to smooth the nib tipping on a pen after the tuning is complete. Useful for removing tiny surface imperfections, to improve the smooth feel of the nib.
Abrasive choice depends on how aggressively you wish to remove material. A conservative approach is to learn on MICRO-MESH in 12000 grade, available in either the flexible sheet or pad format. Then bring back the shine to the metal with a few passes on the Diamond Polishing Film.
