A little found treasure

The TWSBI Eco Jade Jelly with Bronze fountain pen pairs a soft translucent jade green resin, with the warmth of bronze. A sea glass ‘washed up on the beach’ kind of treasure. Except this one writes!

What sets it apart

  • Limited special edition colour way, jade jelly inspired
  • Bronze trim gives a less conventional aged or antique quality
  • Transparent barrel for clear ink visibility
  • Reliable steel nib, tuned for consistent everyday writing
  • Standard Eco piston filling system with high ink capacity

Feel in the hand

This colour way feels like something you discover. A little object that carries the feeling of being outside, wandering around, noticing things.

Who it’s for

  • First time fountain pen users wanting a pen that can grow with them
  • Writers who prefer a less serious pen
  • Ink explorers who will enjoy using non-blacks and shimmer
  • Fountain pen collectors looking for limited edition Eco colours
  • Anyone who enjoys fun stationery and might even get their nails painted to match

Not for

  • Users who prefer a conservative look
  • People wanting a fully opaque cap or non-demonstrator pen
  • Writers looking for minimalist or monochrome designs
  • Those who prefer ultra light, minimal visual designs

Practical tips

  • Clean the inner cap by removing it with an elastic wrapped around the length of a pencil

FAQs

Is Jade Jelly limited edition?
Yes, and we are noticing Twsbi limited editions are selling out faster than previously.

Can I use bottled ink?
Yes, any bottled ink that is for fountain pens.

Why is it trimmed with bronze instead of silver?
Jade jelly is cool, watery and playful. Whereas bronze is warm and antique looking. The bronze trim moves the pen from cute to something worth finding. The colours are also opposite on the colour wheel, so the bronze makes the green look more luminous.

Is the TWSBI Eco a reliable as an everyday writer? Yes, Eco has become one of the most widely used fountain pens because it combines high ink capacity with a reliably smooth nib.

What’s included

  • TWSBI Eco Jade Jelly with Bronze Fountain Pen
  • Piston wrench for maintenance
  • Silicone grease
  • Simple gift box
  • Instruction leaflet
  • Free nib tuning for a sweeter writing experience

Ink pairing suggestions

  • A warm, slightly earthy brown or muted green rather than a bright emerald
  • Sketchers may like De Atramentis Doc Olive Green
  • Make the bronze trim the story with a warm brown/bronze shimmer ink. We like Teranishi Dusty Gold, labelled for dip pen only, but for us has worked like most other shimmers in an Twsbi Eco.

Build your practice

  • Add a Midori notebook for the creme paper
  • Broader nib sizes make ink shading more visible
