This gel refill allows you to convert your MONTBLANC ballpoint to a capless rollerball.
Compared to a ballpoint refill, gel ink feels smoother and lays down more ink. A gel ink refill does not last as long as a ballpoint refill, but offers effortless writing in the same way a fountain pen does. If you are new to using gel inks, the key is to let the pen glide and not use any pressure.
Heavy-handed writers may prefer the MONTEVERDE Softroll Ballpoint refill for MONTBLANC which has a low viscosity ballpoint ink for better flow than standard ballpoint refills.
