The three  essential tools we use everyday when cleaning fountain pens.

Bulb irrigator that can be used to flush your fountain pen. Catheter end is tapered so will fit most fountain pens, but still take care as you may get some back spray of ink.

• Fill cup with water
• Draw up volume of water
• Squirt through section (where cartridge usually inserts) so that water runs out of nib
• Continue until water runs clear

This model works well with cartridge/converter pens including Sailor, Graf, Lamy. To use with Pilot, insert an old cartridge, cut off end of cartridge and flush through new opening in the cartridge.

Not as suitable for Twsbi Eco, Pilot Custom 823, Pilot Heritage 92 or other designs where access to flush through the nib section isn’t as easily accessible.

Blunt syringe for moving ink and flushing converters.

Brass shim for clearing debris such as old ink or paper fibres from between the tines.
