ESCODA Perla (1438) Synthetic Sable Watercolour Travel Brush - Round - Size 12 (6.9 x 28mm)

This is a premium synthetic sable travel brush from ESCODA that is designed for both washes and detail.

Made from White Toray, the fibre is softer than other commonly used synthetics (nylon, Taklon) which means it holds more paint/water, but unlike most other soft brushes, it is also able to hold a good point for detail.

The brush is encased in stainless steel reversible tube that acts as a handle when the brush is open and a protective case when it is closed. A small hole at the end of the metal case helps the brush dry as it travels home.

Available in size 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 (size 10 shown in image).

Sizes 6, 8 and 10 are the most popular with urban sketchers. Dimensions of brush head are included in the brush name.
