DALER-ROWNEY FW Acrylic Ink - 29.5mL

An acrylic based pigmented water resistant ink in a range of 38 colours, all of which have 3 or 4 star rating for lightfastness and permanence. All colours are fully intermixable and can be diluted to achieve subtle tones, with very similar character to watercolour. FW inks will dry to a water resistant film and successive layers of colour can be laid over the original colour. FW Artist's Inks are especially suited for use in airbrushes and technical pens, but are not suitable for fountain pens.

Use with synthetic brushes as a background or accent in mixed media with watercolour, gouache and coloured pencil, or with a dip pen for calligraphy or hand lettering, in a portable water brush for urban sketching or pour straight onto paper to create abstract works experimenting with pipettes, spray bottles, masking fluid, alcohol, cling film, an old toothbrush etc. 

Best used on hot press (smooth) watercolour paper of 300gsm or Yupo synthetic paper which has a very slick surface. FW inks bond like acrylic paint and can also be used on non-paper surfaces such as canvas, fabric, wood and ceramics.

Supplied as 29.5mL bottle with eye dropper built into the lid.

Select colours from below. If your selection includes a red, yellow, blue and brown, you will be able to mix just about any colour in the spectrum. Use a ceramic or plastic palette to mix your custom shades. Clean all tools immediately after use.
