Anna Mason Artist - Material List

Anna Mason is a British botanical artist and tutor, who understands what it takes to learn painting as an adult. She has developed step-by-step video watercolour lessons to help you learn nature-realism.

Her essential palette of 10 colours are listed below in Winsor & Newton brand. For brushes, she uses small, tear-shaped, synthetic brushes made by ROSEMARY & CO in England. There is a starter set, then the sizes that wear out are available in the top-up-set.  For watercolour paper, Anna likes ARCHES Aquarelle Hot Pressed 300gsm blocks and for a watercolour sketchbook she recommends STILLMAN & BIRN Zeta 270gsm.
