If you use fountain pens, a blunt syringe is one of those simple tools you'll wonder how you managed without. Transfer ink without the mess, fill sample vials, converters or old cartridges, or flush your pen during cleaning. It's your little helper to keep ink in the right place.

What sets it apart

• Blunt cannula: No sharp point to accidentally stab yourself, and narrow gauge to fit into most converter openings
• Luer-lock fitting: The cannula screws onto the plastic syringe to help prevent it popping off and spraying ink when you press the plunger
• Cannula cover: Plastic cap allows you to carry the tool in a pen case, or temporarily store ink in the syringe without it spilling or drying.
• Graduated barrel: Measure and draw up just the amount of ink you need.

Who it's for

• Suits pens that have an access point such as cartridge/converters, eyedroppers
• Can be used to cleanly 'inject' ink into the barrel of TWSBI Diamond 580 and Mini with nib removed
• For neatly filling sample vials, cleaning out converters, pen barrels and hard to reach spaces

Not for

• Not as useful for closed system pens such as TWSBI Eco, TWSBI Vacs and Pilot 823

Practical tips

• Rinse before filling with a different ink to prevent contaminating your ink bottles
  
• For repeat jobs, such as filling sample vials, mark the syringe with tape to identify the exact line to draw up to
  
• This size suits most fountain pen jobs, but we also have a larger capacity syringe if needed
