PELIKAN Toledo M900 (18K nib, 925 Silver Sleeve) Fountain Pen - Black

This pen with the PELIKAN motif is an absolute work of art! It feels substantial in the hand, but not too heavy to reserve just for special occasions.

First launched in 1931, the PELIKAN Toledo is based on the characteristic decorative engraving technique that was perfected by the craftsmen of the Spanish town of Toledo. The motif is the iconic PELIKAN bird with individual hand engravings to mark out the feathers.

Whilst the artistic design remains virtually unchanged, the sleeve is now made of one piece in 925 Sterling Silver and finished in gold plating. There is the iconic translucent green ink window that contrasts against the high sheen black resin body, cap and end piece. The remainder of the construction is similar to the PELIKAN Souveran M800 series.

Hand-finished 18ct gold nib with rhodium trim - available in EF, F, M or B. In keeping with the luxurious feel of this brand, the nibs write wider than other brands.

Differentiated brass piston mechanism.

24ct gold plated clip resembling a pelikan beak.

Air-tight fit of cap to prevent ink drying out.

16.3cm capped length, 38.6g, 1.35mL.

Each Toledo fountain pen is made by hand, in Germany, with only 200 being produced each month. Delivery window is approximately 8-12 weeks. The pen comes in the Toledo Gift box with a certificate booklet that lists the unique serial number and warranty. Please note as the Toledo is made to order, there is no Change-of-Mind returns.
