PELIKAN Souveran M400 Fountain Pen - Black/Red

PELIKAN Souveran is the classic fountain pen and the M400 is the fourth largest pen in the range but still holds quite a lot more ink the the smaller M300.

Made from cellulose acetate, the red striped cotton sheet is diamond cut and seamlessly joined to the ends of the barrel, then polished to a high sheen. When held to the light you can see the ink in the barrel.

Hand-finished 14ct gold nib with rhodium trim - available in EF, F, M or B. In keeping with the luxurious feel of this brand, the nibs write wider than other brands.

Differentiated piston mechanism.

24ct gold plated clip.

Air-tight fit of cap to prevent ink drying out.

12.7cm capped length, 14.6cm posted, 11.7mm diameter, 14.9g, 1.3mL.
