TWSBI Diamond 580 Rose Gold Replacement Nib (Nib only)

Replacement rose gold plated nib for the TWSBI 580 range of fountain pens. This is a genuine replacement nib, made in Germany from high quality stainless steel and finished with rose gold plating. Supplied as either a nib unit (nib & feed on a holder) or nib only, depending on available stock. Excludes collar and grip section.

The 580 nib unit assembly is easy to fit and can be done while the pen is inked:

• Unscrew the original nib and grip section from the barrel
• Slide off the original plastic grip and metal collar from the old nib
• Slide the original collar and grip onto the new nib unit
• Screw the nib and grip section back onto the barrel (hand-tight)
• Check the nib is sitting square relative to the feed

The 580 nib only item is fitted to the original nib unit as follows:

• Slide the original nib and feed out of the nib unit
  
• Slide in the new nib and old feed, keeping the same orientation of the nib unit
• Check the feed is centred on the nib
• Follow the steps above for the remainder of the installation

Size Fine is the most popular for everyday writing, and the 1.1mm Stub for some subtle flair.

Can also be made to fit the TWSBI Aurora, Draco, Kai and Obsidian by removing the original nib from the nib unit and sliding the new nib in.
Roughly #5.5 size, but not a standard interchangeable nib unit for other brands of nibs/pens.
