The ultimate writing journey

There is nothing better than free flowing ink from a fountain pen. Explore options based on fountain pen nib material (steel, gold etc), nib size (extra fine, fine, medium, broad etc), filling mechanism (cartridge, piston, eyedropper, vacuum etc) and design preferences (size, weight, style). You can visit our Brookvale store, ask our Pen Specialists, or order a 2-week loaner pen to test at home. Beginners usually start with a steel nib and consider a gold nib as experience is gained. The most popular nib size is Medium for Japanese nibs (Pilot, Sailor) and Fine for European (Twsbi, Faber-Castell, Opus 88, Graf, Pelikan). Stub nibs, like Twsbi Eco 1.1mm, are rectangular in shape, adding edge to your writing and showing off the full character of your ink.
