The third in the M600 Art Collection

The Pelikan Souverän Art Collection continues with the release of the third in the series, the M600 Georg Tippel. Drawing from Tippel’s 1899 Grundfarben artwork, the barrel features cloud motifs created using the stunning guilloche engraving and Aurora printing process of the earlier pens. The result is a holographic effect that plays with the light as the pen is moved. The colour palette is a mix of browns, with muted blue, and a translucent brown grip and cap. Together these elements create a pen that celebrates historical design in a very desirable form.

Why you’ll love it

  • Inspired by Georg Tippel’s 1899 Grundfarben poster from Pelikan’s first art competition
  • Decorative sleeve features reinterpreted cloud motifs from the original artwork
  • GuillochĂ© engraved and lacquered metal barrel creates weight, depth and movement
  • 14k gold nib, smooth, expressive, and consistent
  • Piston filling system with large ink capacity for extended writing

How it makes you feel

This pen feels closely connected to Pelikan’s history and design heritage. The visual language creates a sense of continuity, linking early artistic expression with contemporary pen design. In the hand, as with the earlier Art Series models, we expect a heavier barrel, and a dynamic visual appeal that changes as the pen moves during writing.
