FAQs
Does the TWSBI Swipe take cartridges?
Yes. It is supplied with a large TWSBI cartridge (1.5mL), and also accepts most standard international 38mm cartridges (1mL).
Does it come with a converter?
Yes. The Swipe comes with a spring loaded converter (1.5mL) for filling from an ink bottle.
Can I use De Atramentis 38mm waterproof cartridges?
Yes. These cartridges are compatible with the TWSBI Swipe and are an excellent choice for sketching. Once dry, the waterproof ink allows you to apply watercolour or other wet media over your drawing.
How does it compare to TWSBI Eco?
TWSBI Swipe with the cartridge/converter filling is very easy to clean and change ink colour, even with shimmer inks. It also has a narrower grip that people with smaller hands may find is more comfortable than Eco.
Which nib should I choose?
Choose EF or F for fine writing and detailed drawing, M for more expression, B for a wetter broader line, or the 1.1 Stub if you want noticeable line variation.
