SAKURA Microperm 01 - Black
These are similar to SAKURA Pigma Micron pens but with a different, more permanent ink, that writes on glossy and coated surfaces.
Â
They use low odour, non-xylene ink and can write on most surfaces including plastic, glass, film, acetate, mylar, perspex, acrylic and metal. Can be used on the back of photos. Diamond cutters use them to mark up the facets before cutting, but you will probably use them on good old paper and plastic!
The body of the pen is the same as the Pigma Mircon. Strong nylon tip with metal casing, and sturdy plastic barrel. Safety ventilated cap and metal clip. Ink dries quickly, is waterproof and conforms to ASTM D-4236 and is AP non-toxic.
Best used in a vertical position, like in technical drawing and to avoid leaks, do not spin. Not recommended for use on fabrics. Alcohol based cleaners will usually remove Microperm from glass and plastic.
Available in black ink with nib sizes 01 (0.25mm), 03 (0.35mm) and 05 (0.45mm).
