SAILOR PEN

Perfect pencil-like pleasure

With a reputation built on nib quality and limited editions, SAILOR fountain pens drag you down the rabbit hole. Whilst not as big as Pilot, the range is still surprisingly broad, helping you to find your writing soul mate. Sailor 1911 is the classic cigar style, and Professional Gear a modern flat top design. Within each style there are three body sizes - King of Pen, Large and Standard/Slim, plus PG Slim Mini for the Professional range. Seasonal collections include Shikiori. The standard nib widths are EF, F, MF, M, B, Zoom (variable) and Music (stub). Sailor nibs are full of character, providing a firm, graphite-like feel on the page. Speciality Naginata nibs are available in Togi, Concorde, Emperor, Cross Point and Cross Music. Apart from the Realo piston filler, all pens are cartridge/converter style, providing good ink flow and easy cleaning. For beginners there is the fun Sailor Profit Jr in pastels or clear demonstrator body. Artists like the Desk Pen for fine lines and the Fude for line variation. The Hocoro dip pens give you an easy way to swatch inks. Sailor inks rival those of Pilot, with over a hundred colours spread across the Shikiori, boutique Ink Studio and pigmented range.
