Most of our De Atramentis range consists of Document inks, trusted by artists layering watercolour, writers preserving their thoughts and letter lovers sending correspondence that stays pristine. These pigmented inks are fast drying, waterproof, archival, dilutable and intermixable. Archive ink is almost identical to Document ink, with added protection against acid exposure. Artist inks are also waterproof and suitable for fountain pen use, but contain a higher pigment load for creative applications. We work closely with the manufacturer to commercialise our favourite Document colours, including Urban Grey and Urban Sienna.
