Manganese Blue Hue is a clear greenish azure blue colour. It is based on the now obsolete Manganese Blue made of Barium Manganate.

It is a brilliant, refreshing blue that captures the bright, tropical character of the historic Manganese Blue pigment. Part of the Winsor & Newton Professional Watercolour range, it delivers luminous, transparent washes with exceptional clarity and a slightly green bias that makes it ideal for painting clear skies, sparkling water and vibrant landscapes.
