The Holbein Series 500 Water Brush is a refillable brush designed for watercolour, ink and other water soluble media. Built for control and consistency, it offers a more brush like feel than most other plastic water brushes, making it a favourite for sketching, journaling and travel.

High quality water brush with rounded white nylon hair for smooth washes, controlled lines and gentle blending. The brush tip is larger and with a thicker belly than most other water brushes, increasing its capacity to hold water. We also find this brush tip holds its shape for longer than other brands.

The integrated water reservoir delivers a steady, predictable flow, ideal for painting outdoors without the need for a separate water container. As with many Japanese tools, the thread to undo the reservoir turns in the opposite direction to normal.
