PELIKAN Edelstein - Mandarin - 5mL SAMPLE

This is a sample of Pelikan Edelstein Mandarin fountain pen ink. A vibrant orange, true to the mandarin fruit skin colour. 

Inspired by the Mandarin gemstone, this ink shows shading properties on all the papers we tested, performing the best on Japanese paper stocks. It's warm and expressive, adding energy to sketches, headings and work where you want the colour to stand out.

Edelstein inks are typically drier than most other inks, giving you a practical ink to use in pens where ink flow is too high or on paper likely to feather or bleed. A good option for a left hander who's grip makes it difficult to avoid smudging the ink just laid down.

Pair with a wide nib such as TWSBI Eco 1.1mm, to help you show off the shading properties.
