PELIKAN Edelstein - Garnet - 5mL SAMPLE

This is a sample of Pelikan Edelstein Garnet fountain pen ink. A dark red, in the crimson range.

Inspired by the Garnet gemstone, this ink shows shading properties on all the papers we tested, performing the best on Japanese paper stocks. It's more dramatic tone adds gravitas to your writing while remaining warm and inviting. Offers a distinct look for letter writers and a lovely contrast for journal entries on ivory colour paper stocks.

Edelstein inks are typically drier than most other inks, giving you a practical ink to use in pens where ink flow is too high or on paper likely to feather or bleed. A good option for a left hander who's grip makes it difficult to avoid smudging the ink just laid down.

Pair with a wide nib such as TWSBI Eco 1.1mm, to help you show off the shading properties.
