Inspired by the Adventurine gemstone, this ink shows shading properties on all the papers we tested, performing the best on Japanese paper stocks. It's a confident shade, that evokes the freshness of a forest, providing clarity to your thoughts and ideas. Ideal for expressive writing, annotations or if you're seeking a bold alternative to the traditional blacks and blues.

Edelstein inks are typically drier than most other inks, giving you a practical ink to use in pens where ink flow is too high or on paper likely to feather or bleed. A good option for a left hander who's grip makes it difficult to avoid smudging the ink just laid down.

Pair with a wide nib such as TWSBI Eco 1.1mm, to help you show off the shading properties.
