LarryPOST Fountain Pen Cleaning Kit (Bulb, Blunt Syringe, Brass Shim)

These are the three essential tools we use everyday when cleaning fountain pens.

Bulb irrigator that can be used to flush your fountain pen. Catheter end is tapered so will fit most fountain pens.

• Fill cup with water
• Use bulb to draw up volume of water
• Squirt through section (where cartridge usually inserts) so that water runs out of nib
• Continue until water runs clear

This model works well with cartridge/converter pens including Sailor, Graf, Lamy. To use with Pilot, insert an old cartridge into the pen, cut off the end of the cartridge and flush through the new opening in the cartridge.

Not as useful for Twsbi Eco or other closed barrel designs where access to flush through the nib section isn’t accessible.

Blunt syringe for moving ink and flushing converters.

Brass shim for clearing debris such as old ink or paper fibres from between the tines.
