The KUM Meisterwerk is the premium 2-step pencil sharpener for extra long points. Sharpen pencil in 2 steps, first taking off the wood, then making the long point. Magnesium body precisely sets position of blades. Removable brake system (blue part) allows you to set how much wood to remove, which dictates length of final point. Two spare carbon steel blades (same size as KUM standard blades) . Black neoprene protective case. KUM. Made in Germany since 1919.

Works best with high grade pencils made from quality wood and with the core well centred.
Made from magnesium to precisely locate the cutting blade.
Blade is finely ground carbon steel. First hole removes the wood and is set at more acute angle than the Automatic Longmont Sharpener. If blue part is removed, you can take more timber off to get an even longer point.
Second hole sharpens the lead to a fine long point.
