PILOT CON-20 Converter (opaque squeeze for all PILOT models) - 0.8mL

PILOT Converter 20 is a small squeeze converter to fit all modern PILOT pens and is particularly useful if you plan to use permanent inks. It is a good option for PILOT Kakuno as the Kakuno does not come with a converter of it's own.

With the converter inside the pen and the fountain pen nib in the ink bottle, you squeeze and release the converter  to draw up ink.

Like all PILOT products, it is very simple to use ... the words "Press Here" are engraved on the side bar!

The converter is a similar size to PILOT water-based ink cartridges, but probably holds less ink in that you don't get it completely full by squeezing.

You also have the option of using a blunt needle syringe to fill the converter more completely or you could refill a used cartridge in the same way. We find however the converter provides better pen performance as the metal components of the converter make for a better seal over time ... the plastic on a disposable cartridge tends to go out of shape.
