PRINCETON Artist Brush is one of the lead manufacturers of synthetic watercolour brushes. The challenge with synthetics is to develop a filament with the same natural roughness seen on animal fibres. It is the surface roughness that increases the surface area of the fibre and it's ability to hold liquid. PRINCETON Neptune is designed to mimic squirrel with a large water holding capacity. PRINCETON Aqua Elite mimics Kolinsy sable with a good point for detail. PRINCETON Velvetouch is a stiffer fibre for mixed media. All brushes are animal friendly. Travel brush option available.
