PILOT Kakuno Fountain Pen - Soft Violet - Fine Nib

This simple fountain pen helps you learn how a fountain pen works.

Light weight plastic makes it easy to manipulate. The transparent front end allows you to see how the ink is delivered through the feed to the nib.

The nib is stainless steel and like most Japanese nibs, writes one size narrower than European nibs. The nib includes a little smiley face on the top surface so you know which way to hold the pen. We have looked at lots of these Kakuno nibs under magnification and the tines show good alignment.

Takes PILOT IC-50-B or Parallel cartridges and is initially supplied with a single black cartridge (sold separately).

The pen is also compatible with PILOT Converter-40 or Converter-70, both available separately, to allow you to draw up ink from a bottle, including waterproof ink.
