A versatile sharpener manufacturer, known for the Automatic Long Point. The Automatic AS series is the classic design, with two holes, used in two stages. The first hole takes off excess timber to produce a long unsharpened lead, useful for shading. The second hole shapes the lead to an elongated point. Works best on high quality pencils, where the lead core is exactly in the centre of the wood barrel. The Masterpiece is based on the same principle, but allows you to remove the automatic stop guard, to further elongate the point of the pencil. A long point sharpener is also available in a 1-step model, where a slightly curved blade removes the timber and lead in one stage. Spare blades available.
