HERBIN

HERBIN

The oldest name in ink

Jacques Herbin (J Herbin), established in 1670 in Paris, is renowned for its premium fountain pen inks and history in sealing waxes. Notable is their "1670" collection, featuring inks with gold shimmer particles (and 1798 with silver shimmer), in luxurious square bottles, sealed with a lid made of wax. The everyday range, "Jewel of Inks", known for ph-neutral and non-toxic properties, flow well and will shade when used with broader nibs. Perle Noire is a rich, deep black with particularly good flow and can often improve a dry writing fountain pen. Other popular colours include Poussiere De LuneLie De The, Cafe des Iles and Bleu des Profundeurs. The Paris Collection include 5 new ink colours that take you on a tour of historical Paris. Sample ink vials available for most of the range. A blotter can be used to absorb any excess ink.
