Montval is a beginner grade cellulose based paper, with more texture and less absorbency, making it easy to lift mistakes. The XL Watercolour range has a smoother surface compared to Montval, working well for watercolour washes and fast fountain pen use. The Mixed Media XL offers a textured side for painting and a smoother side for fine liners and fountain pen.
