Dip Pen & Drawing Inks
Artist ink is a versatile medium that can be used for line work or washes. Waterproof inks are favoured for line work, to allow the use of wet media over the top. Most poular pigmented, waterproof ink is DE ATRAMENTIS Artist Ink. Watersoluble inks can be blended for beautiful effects and although they are not as colourfast as a waterproof ink, can be a lot of fun. Calligraphy inks, for use with a dip nib, are a higher viscosity than regular inks and can be waterproof or watersoluble depending on the formula. Only use fountain pen inks in fountain pens.
