The artists' tool that teaches. The ViewCatcher is an artist's view finder created to be a composition or cropping tool for artists or photographers. It can be used for still life drawing or painting, plein air painting, figures, and landscapes.

View catchers can be used to establish horizontal or vertical orientation and locating the horizon. It lets you view your subject matter and your artwork so you can make better decisions about composition, value judgment and true colour. Includes markings to indicate proportions of common paper sizes (imperial measurements 8 x 12", 9 x 12", 11 x 14"). 

Tool is approximately 15 x 23mm (similar to a mounted 35mm slide).
