The Ivory is synthetic bristle at its best, a cross between the feel of nylon and hog bristle. 

The Ivory Range is 100% synthetic and vegan-friendly.

They are great for Oils, Gouache, Acrylics and Water-mixable Oils.

Thank you to David Leffel who suggested this addition to the range and who honorably carried out trials. The extra length allows a greater flow and of course, holds more paint. As the brush head wears down you are left with a 'traditional' filbert length. David, we love you and of course your paintings - you are a Master.

The oval end can be used to both make sweeping strokes but also fine lines when held vertically. The Ivory filberts are popular for knocking back edges and for a softer stroke. They have a great 'snap' which allows for a flexible and forgiving stroke.
