# TACHIKAWA School Fountain Pen (No. 40) - Black Ink - 0.2mm

Simple plastic body fountain pen, with a firm EF stainless steel nib, designed for manga and other illustrative art. Line width is approx. 0.2mm and requires a light hand to prevent feedback.

The nib is fitted into a grip section that screws into the barrel. Ink is supplied to the nib via an absorbent wick-like feed. A snap cap allows you to open the pen one handed.

Supplied with a single proprietary cartridge of water resistant, fade proof, black ink. There is an ink window in the barrel to help you monitor level of remaining ink. Replacement cartridges are available separately, but you could also refill an empty cartridge with a blunt syringe. The cartridge includes a ball bearing to agitate the ink, which is useful when the ink contains pigment particles. 

Combine with a pocket sketchbook, for a highly portable set up that will really accelerate your drawing practice.
