-    Think about these for creating an atmosphere. You'll be aware of the fragrance as soon as you open the bottle and also while you're writing, but as it's a water-based ink, the fragrance doesn't last like an oil based perfume would.

-   **Does the scent linger on the page?** The fragrance is most noticeable when writing and shortly after, but does not last beyond a day or two.
-   **Will it damage my fountain pen?** No, when used and maintained properly. These inks are designed for fountain pen use and made to a manufacturing standard. Regular cleaning is still recommended.
-   **Are the fragrances strong?** No. We have sniffed them all and survived. 
-   **Do the scents vary a lot?** Yes. Each ink has its own character, from floral to fruity to more unusual profiles. Try Bookworm for some childhood memories of time spent in the school library.
